Job description: Service and maintain medium and heavy-duty trucks and mounted hydraulic equipment
Maintain service documentation records and complete reports of work performed
Review work orders and establish priorities with Garage Foreman
Trouble shoot and maintain hydraulic and electric systems
Perform all duties in compliance with all policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Required to provide own tools
Road work on service truck as required and some overnight stay as required
Work on Bucket, Digger Derrick (RBD), and Crew trucks
Work on off road equipment, directional drills, trenchers, and plow cats
When not on the road, required to assist in the Fleet Shop with general duties
Qualifications: Valid Class 5 Drivers licence required. Class 1 or 3 is an asset
High School Diploma required




Heavy duty Mechanic Certification is required
Knowledge of utility equipment is an asset
Welding experience an asset
Working knowledge of Bucket and Digger Derrick trucks an asset
Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of off-road and heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving skills as it relates to trucks and equipment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work multiple shifts, including weekends and overnight stays when needed
