An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Systems Engineer to join a high-performing technology team delivering mission-critical solutions within a complex operational environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative system design, integration, deployment, and support activities, contributing to the development of advanced technology solutions that enhance operational performance, safety, and reliability. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will collaborate with architects, developers, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver complex systems throughout the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Define and manage system requirements and technical specifications with project stakeholders. Support system design, development, integration, deployment, and commissioning activities. Install, configure, and test operating systems, application software, and system management tools.

Work closely with Solution Architects and development teams to support system design and implementation. Monitor system and application performance, identify issues, troubleshoot faults, and coordinate resolution activities. Support verification and validation activities throughout the systems engineering lifecycle.

Manage and control product requirements, changes, and configuration updates. Produce technical, operational, training, and support documentation in accordance with quality standards. Research and evaluate new technologies, hardware, software, and methods to improve system performance.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, engineering processes, and best-practice methodologies. Support multiple concurrent projects across international and geographically diverse environments. Assist with technical proposals and support business development activities where required.

Required Experience 3–5+ years' experience delivering systems engineering,



systems integration, or complex technology projects.

Experience working on mission-critical, real-time, or highly available systems. Proven track record of supporting projects through the full lifecycle from requirements capture to deployment and support.

Experience working within the V-Model systems development lifecycle. Strong background in systems integration, testing, verification, and validation activities.

Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering and project delivery teams. Knowledge of project delivery methodologies including Agile and Waterfall. Ability to obtain government-level security clearance.

Technical Skills Systems Integration Requirements Management Verification & Validation Windows Administration TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP Application Support and Troubleshooting Configuration Management Technical Documentation System Testing and Commissioning Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Equivalent experience delivering complex computer-based systems will also be considered. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to work effectively across multiple projects and priorities.

Working Arrangements

Hybrid working arrangement. Ability to travel internationally for multiple weeks, up to 30-40% of the time; mainly United States, but occasional travel to UAE, Western Europe and APAC could be included. Prospect to work on globally deployed systems within a technically challenging and innovative environment.
