Education in Child and Youth Care or similar fields is preferred, along with experience dealing with significant mental health issues. Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients in achieving goals per their Individual Support Plan
- Assist with supervising emotional and social development
- Employ de-escalation techniques to handle difficult behaviors
- Model healthy relationship behaviors and set boundaries
- Safely transport clients for appointments and activities Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Child and Youth Care or related discipline
- At least 1 year of relevant experience required
- Clean Class 5 BC Driver’s License
- Ability to perform CPR/First Aid if needed
