Role Description This full-time, on-site Teacher role is based in De Winton, AB. The Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering curriculum-aligned lessons, assessing student learning, and providing constructive feedback to support student growth. Daily tasks include creating engaging learning activities, managing classroom routines, and maintaining a positive, respectful learning environment.

The Teacher collaborates with colleagues and school leadership, communicates regularly with families and caregivers, and participates in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives.



The role also involves integrating faith-based perspectives consistent with CTR Catholic’s mission, while supporting the diverse needs of all learners.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience applying curricular outcomes in the classroom.

Demonstrated ability in Lesson Planning and Training, including designing differentiated learning activities and supporting varied learning styles.

Excellent Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues in a skilled and respectful manner.

Relevant post-secondary degree in Education and eligibility for or possession of valid Alberta teaching certification.

Commitment to faith-based education and alignment with the mission and values of CTR Catholic Schools.

Ability to create inclusive, safe, and caring classroom environments that support student well-being.

Strong organizational, classroom management, and problem-solving skills, with adaptability to changing needs.

Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and collaborative school initiatives.
