Become a Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Philosophy at the University of Manitoba. This position facilitates lectures, prepares instructional materials, and supports student learning effectively. The Department of Philosophy seeks an empathetic and skilled individual for the Teaching Assistant role in PHIL 1200 A03.

Responsibilities include attending lectures, preparing handouts and tests, and marking student assignments. You will also hold consultation hours to assist students with their course-related inquiries while engaging in course planning meetings. Key Responsibilities:

- Attend orientation and planning meetings for course staff
- Prepare instructional materials for tutorials and seminars
- Mark student work and provide feedback on assignments
- Hold regular consultation hours for student support
- Assist in the development of course-related content Requirements:
- Completion of relevant academic studies
- Empathetic approach to student needs
- Effective communication skills in English
- Prior experience related to course instruction
- Enrollment as a full time student at UM preferred Help enhance student understanding and engagement in philosophy at the University of Manitoba.
