As a pivotal member of the Third Party Residential Underwriting Division, you will report to the Assistant Vice President and manage a dedicated team of Mortgage Underwriters.

Your leadership will guide the assessment of mortgage applications while ensuring adherence to policies and service excellence. You will build relationships with mortgage brokers and external partners, enhancing the company’s reputation and supporting business growth. Key Responsibilities:

- Cultivate positive relationships with mortgage brokers




- Generate new business opportunities through referrals
- Make lending decisions within established limits
- Complete management reports as necessary
- Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members Requirements:
- 3-5 years mortgage underwriting experience
- 2+ years in people management
- Completion of the Mortgage Agent Course
- Fluency in French (written and spoken)
