ProjectTheWoodfibre LNGProject is located approximately 7 km west-southwest of Squamish, British Columbia. It involves the construction and operation of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility on the previous Woodfibre pulp mill site, which would have a storage capacity of 250,000 m3 and would produce approximately 2.1 million tons per year of LNG.TheWoodfibre Management Ltd.is a privately held Canadian company based in Vancouver and a subsidiary of Pacific Energy Corporation Limited.PositionReporting to theWLNG CEO, theVP, Financeprovides strategic financial leadership and decision support to theWLNG CEOand the leadership team. This role also ensures accurate financial planning, integrity of financial statements, and robust risk management while driving alignment across business units and supporting operational and strategic objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partnering & Performance ManagementCollaborate with WLNG leadership team to translate strategies into actionable business and financial plans.Connect the dots across BUs, monitor and regularly update the integrated business plan to drive the achievement of business objectives and strategies.Partner with the WLNG CEO to develop comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and set stretching business plans.Deliver timely financial analysis and insights to guide performance and strategic decisions.Monitor BU performance, identify gaps in revenue, EBITDA, and costs, and recommend corrective actions.Promote continuous improvement to optimize revenue, costs,



and capital efficiency.Work with Corporate Treasury to manage working capital and secure project funding.Support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and M&A activities through financial analysis.Financial & Statutory AccountingEnsure timely and accurate financial statement close processes, as well as accounting systems.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxations, and regulatory requirements.Liaise with auditors and tax advisors to maintain professional relationships.Corporate Governance & Risk ManagementDrive improvements in business control processes together with BU leadership.Ensure alignment with RGE Group policies, embed robust financial risk management practices.Team Leadership & Stakeholder CoordinationLead and motivate finance to deliver high performance, quality and timely deliverables.Explore continuous improvements to automate financial processes, drive scalable process standardization, and enhance efficiency.Keep stakeholders informed on progress against key milestones.Develop team member capabilities and support Head of Finance to build succession bench strength with clear career progression pathway.Required ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA (CA or CMA)
