DCC is a agile and fast-paced Crown corporation whose clients include the Canadian Armed Forces and the Department of National Defence. We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and motivated Team Leader, Program Management.

The Team Leader, Program Management, oversees the delivery of infrastructure and environmental projects. The incumbent coordinates work and conducts quality assurance activities for the team to produce project deliverables (e.g. development plans, statements of work, strategic plans), and undertakes research, studies and assessments to provide advice to the Client-Partners. The incumbent supports the Client-Partners in tracking and reporting on program metrics and results, and ensures alignment with strategic direction and plans.

The incumbent leads a team of professionals and manages the human resources responsibilities for the team. The incumbent also manages the Client-Partner relationship.



The incumbent develops creative solutions and ensures the team is focused on collaboration and the quality and timeliness of deliverables.

KEY AND PERIODIC ACTIVITIES

The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative but not all-inclusive:

Primary

- Lead the research and preparation of documents required for long-term projects and programs (e.g. approvals, statements of work, statements of operational requirement, projects charters, budgets, policies and procedures)
- Coordinate work with Client-Partner representatives
- Participate in DCC corporate initiatives
- Generate infrastructure statements of operational requirements, prepare business cases and conduct investigations, as required
- Participate in procurement planning
- Coordinate activities of consultants
- Prepare monthly reports (e.g. internal, Client-Partner)
- Monitor and control
