Become a crucial part of Enerflex’s team as a Technical Accounting Advisor in Calgary. This senior role plays a vital role in financial disclosures and assisting with complex technical queries. Reporting to the Manager of External Reporting and Research, the position demands expertise in preparing key financial documents, addressing complex accounting issues, and supporting internal/external audits.
You'll ensure compliance with IFRS standards and lead the implementation of new accounting pronouncements that impact the company. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare financial statements and MD&A;
- Review and assist in disclosure document preparation
- Coordinate regulatory filings with the legal department
- Provide guidance on new accounting regulations
- Manage audit requests and resolution of inquiries Requirements:
- CPA or equivalent must be completed
- 8+ years of industry-specific accounting experience
- Proficient understanding of IFRS and GAAP
- Experience with multi-currency transactions preferred
