Senior, Engineering Strategic Initiatives Bombardier is a global leader, creating creative and game-changing planes. As part of the Strategy, Governance, Engineering Skills Management team and within the Engineering, Product Development and Bombardier Defense organization.

You will be instrumental in achieving our mission: “Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to ensure the Engineering organization attracts, retains, and optimizes top industry talent to achieve its objectives.” Support the development and execution of engineering strategies across Bombardier sites. Plan and manage strategic engineering initiatives that improve effectiveness and capacity to meet current and future business needs. Lead the deployment of cross-functional budget management processes and tools to improve consistency and efficiency across Engineering.

Communicate priorities, influence stakeholders, promote collaboration, and support decision-making with Engineering Community leaders, Defense, Finance, HR, and suppliers. Benchmark, propose,



and implement innovative improvements to organizational effectiveness, processes, and tools, including AI-enabled solutions. Coach and mentor Strategy, Governance and Engineering Skills Management team members to support growth and strengthen organizational capability.

Develop and deliver training and knowledge transfer for engineering teams, including Engineering Essentials and Fundamentals Training. Provide technical leadership to engineering professionals and technologists, ensuring quality execution and continuous improvement. Bombardier experience and strong working knowledge of BES, with more than 20 years of relevant aerospace and engineering experience across varied assignments and projects.

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent.
