In this role, you will mentor about 20 engineers and detailers, review intricate shop drawings, and solve constructability challenges. A robust focus on transitioning from AutoCAD to Microvellum is essential for success. Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and coach engineers and detailers in the department
- Review complex architectural millwork shop drawings
- Identify errors and constructability issues proactively
- Develop and standardize engineering procedures and practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various project teams Requirements:
- 10+ years in custom architectural millwork
- Advanced expertise in AutoCAD and fabrication-ready drawings
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Excellent communication and mentoring abilities
