Umano Medical is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Field Service Technician to support hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and performing preventive maintenance on Umano Medical equipment. While the primary territory is the GTA, occasional travel throughout Ontario and other Canadian locations will be required.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Umano Medical equipment at customer sites.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and equipment upgrades.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electronic failures.
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time.
- Provide technical support and training to hospital staff when required.
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and hospital safety requirements.
- Manage service inventory, tools, and replacement parts.
- Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the Service Manager.
- Participate in an on-call rotation when required.
- Travel throughout Ontario and occasionally across Canada.





Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of field service experience, preferably in medical devices or healthcare equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently from a home office.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Valid passport and willingness to travel within Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience servicing hospital beds, patient lifts, stretchers, surgical tables, or other medical equipment.
- Experience working in hospitals or healthcare environments.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and computerized service management systems.
