Health & Safety Site Representative Location: Pickering, Ontario (On-Site) Employment Type: Full time Industry: ICI Construction Salary: Starting at 55K -Salary is negotiable, based on experience The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Junior Health & Safety Site Representative to support a fast-paced construction project in Pickering, Ontario. This is a fully on-site role suited for someone early in their health and safety career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in an active construction environment. Reporting to the Health & Safety team, you will work closely with Site Superintendents, Project Managers, and subcontractors to support daily safety operations, promote a strong safety culture, and ensure compliance with Ontario’s construction health and safety requirements. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who is detail-oriented, confident on site, and passionate about learning and growing in the field of construction safety. Key Responsibilities Support daily on-site health and safety activities on an active construction project Conduct regular site inspections and hazard identification walks Assist with Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), toolbox talks, and safety meetings Support onboarding and orientation of workers and subcontractors Monitor compliance with site safety rules, PPE requirements, and safe work practices Assist with incident reporting, investigations,



and corrective action tracking Maintain accurate safety documentation and site records Liaise with site leadership and trades to address safety concerns proactively Support Ministry of Labour readiness and site compliance initiatives Qualifications & Experience Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Safety 0–2 years of experience in a construction or industrial safety role (co-op or internship experience welcomed) Working knowledge of Ontario OHSA and Construction Regulations (O.
