Seize the chance to work as a Dynamic Accountant with a prominent player in the Canadian hospitality industry. This role involves key accounting tasks supporting month-end close and process enhancements in a fast-paced setting.
As a part of a growing finance team, you will report to the Accounting Manager and play a pivotal role in essential accounting functions. Your contributions will include journal entries, audit assistance, and improvements to financial reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Support financial statement preparation and intercompany transactions
• Assist with audits and uphold internal control standards
• Prepare and file HST/GST returns while conducting variance analysis




• Identify opportunities for process improvements to boost data accuracy
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Accounting; CPA in progress considered an asset
• Familiar with intermediate Excel capabilities; NetSuite experience is advantageous
• Understanding of full-cycle accounting and reconciliations
• Knowledge of IFRS and/or ASPE preferred
• Attention to detail and ability to collaborate across departments
