- Apply and promote MPE a division of Englobe’s health and safety rules
- Oversee and manage municipal engineering projects from inception through completion
- Review engineering design drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Experience with lift stations, pumping systems, and treatment systems would be an asset
- Report writing and document preparation
- Construction contract management
- Liaison with clients and contractors
- Ability to coordinate designs and construction inspections with multiple disciplines
- Self-motivated with leadership ability
- Possess good written and verbal communications skills
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Coordinate designs and construction inspections with multiple disciplines
- Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers and technologists.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+years experience in water distribution, wastewater collection, transportation, stormwater management, and drainage systems
- Must have a P.Eng. Designation and in good standing with APEGA




- Proficiency in computer software for modelling and spreadsheet analysis
- Demonstrated aptitude for general construction methods
- Strong business acumen and understanding of municipal infrastructure projects
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team atmosphere
- Self-motivated with leadership potential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Local to Red Deer Alberta or open to Relocation
