At Stantec, we are seeking an experienced candidate to oversee Oracle databases and APEX environments. You will manage complex database systems, ensure optimal performance, and implement backup strategies. This role requires strong technical skills in Oracle Database Administration, Oracle APEX, and operational troubleshooting in a multi-environment setup.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer Oracle databases (19c and newer) across various environments
• Conduct installations, upgrades, and migrations of database systems
• Implement backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery solutions




• Monitor and tune database performance effectively
• Troubleshoot APEX performance and manage application deployment
Requirements:
• 5–10+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience
• Robust experience with Oracle APEX and ORDS administration
• Proficient in PL/SQL and performance tuning methodologies
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments essential
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in complex systems
