Join Mowi Canada East as a Temporary Laboratory Technician in Pennfield, NB. Support the aquaculture industry through essential qPCR lab work during our spawning season. This temporary role lasts approximately six weeks, commencing in September.

Ideal candidates will have laboratory experience with RNA extraction for qPCR and a background in related education or industry. You’ll be expected to communicate effectively in English and maintain protected working practices both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with qPCR lab tasks during spawning season
- Handle RNA extraction for laboratory processes
- Complete repetitive tasks safely and effectively
- Follow safe working practices at all times
- Collaborate with the Freshwater Team to meet job demands Requirements:
- Prior experience in a laboratory setting
- Related post-secondary education or experience is an asset
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
