Step into a vital role as Secretary Treasurer in Development Services with a hybrid work model. Your expertise will help guide the Committee of Adjustment through key administrative and statutory functions. This temporary full time position (July 2026 – September 30, 2027) supports all aspects of the Committee of Adjustment’s operations.
You will oversee applications, issue official certificates, and manage committee communications, making this a critical administrative role. Successful candidates will use their knowledge of the Planning Act, and municipal regulations while maintaining official records and preparing for hearings. Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Committee of Adjustment operations per regulations
- Oversee application completeness and manage inquiries
- Prepare statutory notices and committee agendas
- Attend hearings and record proceedings accurately
- Maintain official records and manage application data Requirements:
- Post-secondary diploma in relevant fields
- Two years' administrative experience in planning or law
- Knowledge of the Planning Act and municipal processes
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Utilize your expertise in planning and administration to ensure the effective functioning of the Committee of Adjustment.
