Canadian Babbitt Bearings (CBB) is looking for a Technical Advisor to join our team in Brantford, Ontario.

At CBB, we are more than a manufacturer. We are North America's only bearing company partnered with every major OEM, providing complete bearing solutions through design, reverse engineering, manufacturing, refurbishment, and emergency support.

As part of the RIC Group, you'll be supported by a network of 19 companies and more than 500 skilled tradespeople across Canada, providing access to extensive manufacturing expertise and resources.

What You'll Do

Consult with customers to understand technical challenges, operating conditions, and project requirements

Recommend bearing repair, replacement, manufacturing, and reliability solutions

Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and commercial recommendations

Manage customer projects from initial inquiry through quotation, Manufacturing Engineering review, production, and final delivery

Coordinate schedules, priorities, and communication between customers, Manufacturing Engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams

Monitor project milestones, identify risks, and proactively drive actions to ensure customer commitments are achieved

Lead customer progress updates and maintain visibility of project status, timelines, and deliverables





Build and maintain solid customer relationships while identifying opportunities for growth

Utilize CRM and project management tools to manage opportunities, customer interactions, project progress, and action items

Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence and customer experienceWhat We'r

Looking For

Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical problem-solving skills

Experience in industrial manufacturing, rotating equipment, bearings, machining, foundry operations, or related industries

Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion

Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a wide range of audiences

Customer-focused mindset with a passion for building trusted relationships

Diploma, degree, or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related technical disciplineWhy Join
