- Review and verify transactional activity, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries
- Complete key balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, AR, AP, inventory, and accruals
- Perform monthly subledger-to-general ledger reconciliations
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and financial adjustments
- Analyze budget and forecast variances and provide meaningful insights
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial planning activities
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Support audit processes and ensure documentation is complete and organized
- Provide accounting support to the Assistant Controller and leadership team
Qualifications & Experience
- CPA designation completed or currently in progress is preferred
- 5+ years of accounting experience in a senior or intermediate accounting role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Experience working with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
