Job Description AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to be based at one of our Greater Toronto Area locations (Markham or Mississauga, ON).

This is a newly created position.

This internship is expected to begin in the Fall of 2026 (September to December 2026).

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Technical development and delivery of water and wastewater conveyance infrastructure in a municipal environment.

Design of civil systems associated with municipal water and/or wastewater.

Supporting constructability reviews.

Preparing documentation for design projects and reports.

Supporting construction cost estimates.

Supportingproject specifications and contract documents.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelors Degree in

Civil Engineering or other related fieldand must have completed at least 3years of study.

Candidates who have recently graduated with a bachelors degree and plan to continue with the masters degree are also eligible to apply for thisposition.

Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their Bachelors Degree in the most previous school termwith an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in thesame or similardiscipline at the conclusion of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Experience with municipal water, wastewater and/or stormwater conveyance infrastructure projects Design of new conveyance systems or condition assessment or rehabilitation of existing conveyance systems would be an asset Experience with Micro

Station, Civil 3D,



or AutoCAD would be an asset.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors and clients.

Additional Information Relocation is not available for this position.
