Role Description This full time Financial Planner role is an on-site position based in Saskatoon, SK. The Financial Planner will meet with clients to understand their financial goals, assess their current financial situation, and develop personalized financial plans. Daily responsibilities include preparing financial analyses, advising on budgeting, savings, investments, insurance, tax considerations, and retirement strategies, as well as monitoring and updating plans as client circumstances change. The role involves maintaining detailed records, complying with regulatory standards, collaborating with internal teams and external partners when needed, and communicating complex financial information in a clear, accessible manner.
The Financial Planner will also support business development efforts by nurturing client relationships and identifying opportunities to expand services.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Financial Planning and Finance, with the ability to design comprehensive, goal-oriented financial strategies.
Experience in Personal Financial Planning, including budgeting, debt management, and investment guidance for individual clients.
Proficiency in Conquest Planning & Snap Projections will be considered an asset.
Expertise in Retirement Planning, with the ability to create sustainable retirement income and savings plans.
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or advanced progress toward CFP certification, or equivalent professional credential.
LLQP or progress towards insurance licensing.
Relevant post-secondary education in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with solid attention to detail and accuracy.
Clear, empathetic communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to clients in an understandable way.
Ability to work in office in Saskatoon, SK, manage multiple client relationships, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
