As a Spiritual Health Practitioner I, you will engage with families and staff to address spiritual, existential, and religious concerns. Your expertise in screening, assessments, and spiritually integrated counseling will promote overall well-being across the healthcare setting. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you will facilitate spiritual group therapies and provide support to staff and volunteers, fostering resilience within the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer patient-centered spiritual care interventions
• Conduct screenings and assessments for spiritual needs
• Facilitate group therapy sessions for spiritual distress
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Support staff, volunteers, and physicians with spiritual care
Requirements:
• Master's degree in theology or a clinically related field
• Hospital based acute care experience required
• Completed CPE training with CASC/ACSS
• Commitment toward certification with CASC/ACSS
• Preferred completion of an advanced CPE unit
