Title: UAT Lead / Project Manager Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid 2-3 days per week onsite) Contract Length: 612 months (potential extension) Pay Rates: C$60/Hr. to C$70/Hr.

Overview We are seeking an experienced UAT Lead / Project Manager to support complex enterprise initiatives by leading User Acceptance Testing activities while providing strong project coordination and delivery oversight.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of hands-on UAT leadership, project management experience, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to coordinate business and technical teams through successful testing cycles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing UAT planning, execution, reporting, defect resolution, and stakeholder communication while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including planning, execution, defect management, reporting, and sign-off.

Develop and maintain UAT strategies, test plans, schedules, test scenarios, and execution plans.

Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, technology teams, developers, QA teams, and project managers to ensure successful delivery.

Coordinate testing activities across multiple business teams and stakeholders, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.

Review business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.

Manage UAT environments, test readiness, dependencies, and execution activities.

Facilitate defect triage sessions, prioritize issues, track resolutions, and provide status updates to project stakeholders.

Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and support mitigation planning.

Provide regular reporting on UAT status, testing progress, defect metrics, risks, and overall project health.





Coordinate business user participation throughout UAT cycles and ensure timely approvals and sign-offs.

Support Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog reviews, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Work closely with project leadership to ensure alignment between business objectives, technology delivery, and testing outcomes.

Required Qualifications & Experience Proven experience as a UAT Lead, Project Manager, Test Manager, QA Lead, or similar role within complex enterprise environments.

Strong experience leading UAT initiatives from planning through completion and business sign-off.

Demonstrated project management experience coordinating cross-functional teams, timelines, risks, and deliverables.

Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and testing processes.

Experience creating UAT strategies, test plans, test cases, execution schedules, and reporting documentation.

Solid experience managing stakeholders across business, technology, and leadership teams.

Experience with defect management tools such as Jira, Azure Dev

Ops, or similar platforms.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in fast-paced enterprise environments.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications Previous experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation, digital, CRM, banking, or customer-facing initiatives.

Experience managing projects within Agile/Scrum delivery environments. PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile project management certifications are considered an asset.

Experience working with complex integrations, business applications, and enterprise platforms.

Previous experience within banking, financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries.

Experience managing multiple testing teams and coordinating large business user groups.

Work Arrangement This role follows a hybrid work model , requiring candidates to be onsite in Toronto, ON 2-3 days per week .
