Join NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde as a Post-CCT Fellow in Trauma and Orthopaedics. Gain extensive clinical experience while performing complex procedures at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

This 12-month fixed-term fellowship offers candidates opportunities from August 2026 to engage in major trauma and elective surgeries. You will have the chance to lead research projects and develop management skills within a high-volume trauma unit, supported by a team of 40 consultants. Your role will incorporate both elective and trauma surgeries involving upper and lower limb procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct major trauma and elective surgical procedures
• Lead research initiatives with regular publishing expectations
• Manage on-call duties within the trauma unit




• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons
• Participate in clinical governance and patient safety programs

Requirements:
• Must hold GMC registration and a valid licence to practice
• Previous clinical experience in Trauma & Orthopaedics
• Leadership skills in surgical settings
• Commitment to patient safety and outcomes
• Research engagement and publication skills
