We’re looking for a Health & Safety Coordinator who’s passionate about creating safer workplaces and helping every employee go home healthy at the end of the day.

WHAT YOU’LL DO Support Site Safety Programs
Coordinate and maintain occupational health and safety programs that meet Manitoba OHS and COR standards.
Assist in aligning site safety programs with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Maintain documentation, records, and reports for audits and inspections.
Build Safety Awareness
Deliver engaging safety orientations and toolbox talks.
Partner with supervisors and employees to reinforce safety practices and positive accountability.
Support the Joint Health & Safety Committees (JHSC) at both sites through scheduling, minutes,
and follow‑ups.
Contribute to Compliance and Continuous Improvement
Conduct or assist with inspections, hazard assessments, and internal audits.
Participate in incident and near‑miss investigations, identify contributing factors, and track corrective actions.
Help monitor safety data, analyze trends, and suggest improvements.
Support Food Safety Integration
Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Operations to ensure OHS practices align with HACCP, GMP, and FSMS requirements.
Assist with documentation for internal and external audits.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING Post‑secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field
OHS certification or diploma from a recognized institution
2 years of experience in a Health & Safety role within a food manufacturing environment, preferably in the dairy industry
Proven ability to interpret and apply Manitoba OHS legislation and regulatory standards
Experience conducting inspections, audits, and incident investigations
Strong communication, analytical, and report‑writing skills
Intermediate First Aid certification (or higher) is an asset
Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and integrated management systems preferred
