We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead a well-established, modern specialty pharmacy team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Operating in a collaborative, non-retail environment, this position allows you to step away from traditional dispensary workflows and focus on what truly matters: mentoring future leaders, shaping team culture, driving operational excellence, and growing key physician relationships. Supported by an Assistant Pharmacy Manager who oversees day-to-day task execution, you will have the autonomy to act as a true strategic leader of your site while enjoying an unmatched Monday to Friday schedule.

Responsibilities





Strategic Leadership & Vision: Drive long-term organizational alignment, champion a high-performing workplace culture, and serve as the primary leadership liaison for senior management.

Talent & People Development: Coach, mentor, and empower a multidisciplinary team of approximately 22 pharmacy professionals while actively fostering succession planning and career growth.

Leadership Support: Direct, mentor, and support the Assistant Pharmacy Manager and emerging leaders in setting performance standards and maintaining accountability.

Financial & Operational Excellence: Own financial performance, analyze operational data, execute action plans to optimize profitability, and champion continuous process improvement.

Business Development & Stakeholder Relations: Partner with internal business development teams, specialists, and local physicians to build trust, strengthen referral networks, and expand specialty pharmacy services.

Quality & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure continuous alignment with College of Pharmacists of Manitoba regulations, Health Canada standards, and strict biologic cold-chain protocols.

Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacist currently registered (or eligible for immediate registration) with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba.

Minimum of 2 years of dedicated pharmacy management experience, ideally leading teams of 10+ professionals and managing other leaders (experienced Staff Pharmacists with demonstrated leadership capabilities will also be considered).

Proven track record in leadership presence, coaching, performance management, and executing accountable feedback.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building capabilities.

Demonstrated ability to navigate evolving healthcare environments with resilience, adaptability, and high emotional intelligence.

Highly Valued:





Prior experience managing financial statements, operational budgets, or organizational KPIs.

Background in developing strategic physician and healthcare stakeholder relationships.

Experience within specialty pharmacy services is an asset, though non-specialty pharmacy leaders with strong transferable management skills are encouraged to apply.

Proven success in driving change management or operational process improvements.
