As aGeneral Handy-Person / Maintenance Site Superintendent, you will receive and assess maintenance Work Orders to complete in residential units and other structures, and detect malfunctions and needed repairs; make notes and recommendations.
Your work will include: Daily contact and communication with clients, technical officers, and site managers, and organization of work execution, in line with clients'' requests and priorities.
Performelectrical maintenance to include but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures such as wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords etc. using appropriate hand, powder and specialty tools.
Performplumbing maintenance such as replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, trenching and laying current lines, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc.
Performpainting, carpentry and masonry work such as preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles etc.
Reconfigure, install, position and remount modular offices and space such as furniture, wall panels, work surfaces, lighting, file cabinets etc. to accommodate user needs and maximize office space using various hand, power and specialty tools, dollies and hand trucks.
Prepare the surfaces and paint various structure and equipment such as walls, refrigerators, evaporative coolers, floors, roofs, doors, restroom facilities etc. to preserve wood and metal parts from corrosion.
Perform basic landscaping and cleaning work, as per Work Orders.
Manage work tools, materials, and supplies.
Qualifications Minimumthree yearsof experience working in a residential property environment, performing maintenance work.
Strong time management, communication and organizational skills.
Aptitude for servicing occupants with the ability to see both the clients''perspective and the impact on the organization.
Adapt to change and deal with challenging situations in a professional manner, while delivering a high quality of service.
Demonstrate a high level of discretion and confidentiality. A clear criminal record check is required for this role.
This position is safety sensitive and requires drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment.
