Job Summary: Reporting to the Circulation Supervisor, the incumbent provides service to the public, meeting established Library strategic objectives and service standards.





Demonstrates and models conduct that adheres to the librarys policies and procedures in accordance with the Librarys vision, mission and values.

The incumbent works in Circulation at Central or at a branch and works collaboratively within their team and system-wide to ensure service priorities are met.

Job Requirements: Education/Qualifications: Completion of the twelfth school grade, including or supplemented by basic computer and word-processing courses.

Experience: Experience in a customer service environment.

Related experience in the provision of library services preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of library methods, procedures and tools applicable to the work.

Working knowledge of the objectives, organization, procedures, services and resources of the Library.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to plan, organize and carry out assigned duties and responsibilities.

Excellent customer service skills.
