Header Project Associate (Permanent) Victoria, BC Expected Salary: $51, to $68, To determine final salary, Babcock considers a variety of factors including the successful Candidates skills and experience and internal equity.
The final base salary offer is at the Companys sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.

Description In this role, you will: Provide support to project teams, including: Assisting in the management and reporting of project resources, risk, opportunities, and issues Scheduling and facilitating stakeholder meetings, including compiling meeting minutes and recording & tracking actions Supporting project stakeholder management and communications Managing and maintaining project documents as required Producing reports and presentations for board reviews, progress meetings, etc. as required Develop metrics and manage databases in support of project delivery objectives Carry out document and records management (electronic and hard copy filing, archiving)
ensuring compliance with Document Control processes Support in the administration of subcontracts and subcontractors Manage the project Share
Point site to facilitate communications and data availability Coordinate onsite visitors including support to health & safety requirements Develop, manage, and release project communications and formal reporting to the client Assist in the management of key improvement initiatives Coordinate project collaboration including tracking and following up on timelines and deliverables, progress reports and action items Perform other duties as reasonably assigned to support business needs The ideal candidate brings: 1-3 years experience working in project management, preferably in an Engineering or Marine setting Experience in Microsoft Office applications, including strong Excel skills Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills with the ability to collate and present information at appropriate levels Ability to react quickly when necessary to meet challenging objectives.
Solid organizational skills Ability to work as part of a team or individually Knowledge of scheduling practise / toolsets are strong assets A working knowledge with progressing/work package database etc. (Project Estimating and Planning System (PEPS) is desirable Eligibility for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance Footer Babcock is committed to promoting a workforce without boundaries.
