The Controller II is a senior finance leadership role responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, controls, and business partnering across Hadrians Canadian and U.S. entities.

This role ensures the integrity of financial results, strengthens internal controls, and delivers actionable insights to drive operational and commercial decision-making.

Controller II plays a critical role in manufacturing finance, ERP optimization (JD Edwards), and cross-border compliance.





This position is also part of the succession pipeline for Director Finance within 35 years, contingent on performance and leadership progression. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Month-End Close & Financial Reporting Lead and execute the month-end close process in line with corporate timelines.

Manage the consolidation of financial data to ensureaccuratemulti-entity reporting.

Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including KPI and variance analysis.

Analyze capital expenditures, revenue, and expenses for completeness and accuracy.

Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and reviewedin accordance withcorporate policies.

Support interim and year-end audit processes.

Monitorregulatory changes and oversee U.S. and Canadian tax compliance, in partnership with Tax Consultants and Corp Tax Teams.

Financial Planning & Analysis Partner with business leaders to support decision-making.

Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and trend analysis.

Analyze Actual vs Forecast vs Budget and support forecasting.

Provide financial evaluation of cost, pricing, and capital decisions.

Cash Management & Working Capital Review Accounts Payable and weekly payments.

Ensure strong cash controls and governance.

Prepare andmonitorcash flow forecasts.

Resource Planning & Team Leadership Lead and develop the accounting team.

Conduct goalsetting, reviews, and 1:1meetings.

Support succession planning and collaboration with shared services.





Internal Controls & Continuous Improvement Strengthen accounting processes and control frameworks.

Ensure compliance with corporate policies.

Identifyand implement process improvements.

Manufacturing Accounting & Systems Lead standard costing and variance analysis.

Own cost roll processes in JD Edwards.

Lead ERP enhancements and system improvements.

Skills & Capabilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to manage complexity and influence stakeholders.

High integrity and sound judgment.

Strong experience in standard costing.

Proven leadership experience.

Advanced Excel and ERP (JD Edwards preferred).

Additional Requirement Ability to travel 1015% across Hadrian plant locations in Canada and the United States.
