Title: Quality Engineer Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (2-3 Days WFO) Duration: 6-12 months Job Description: We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to build and execute automated test frameworks using Python and Playwright in the trading applications domain.

This is a contract QA role focused on hands-on test framework development, test case design, and component-level validation for trading systems.





Required Skills & Qualifications 10 years in Quality Engineering or Automation Testing Solid proficiency with Python for test development Experience using Playwright test automation framework Hands-on ability to design and write test cases for complex trading applications Practical knowledge of SQL for data validation and test logic Prior work experience at client or in client''s Industry Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience building testing systems for financial or portfolio platforms Familiarity with component isolation and end-to-end pairing of modules Exposure to CI/CD integration for test automation Day-to-Day Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Python and Playwright Design and execute test cases for trading systems Collaborate with multi-engineer QA teams on large automation deliveries
