Role Responsibilities As a primary source of knowledge on asset management within the Civil Forfeiture Office (CFO), the Asset Management Coordinator (AMC) acts independently and exercises excellent organization and judgement in managing a wide variety of assets in diverse circumstances.

The AMC initiates and acts on all issues relating to asset management and locating and serving documents on respondents and is responsible for financial accountability and reporting on assets subject to proceedings under the Civil Forfeiture Act.

The AMC works within a framework of applicable legislation and precedents, but must identify, evaluate and implement creative options to fit unique circumstances, in a manner consistent with the policy and goals of the CFO and the Government of Alberta.





The position represents the CFO to internal and external stakeholders in asset management matters.

Asset Management- Manage and accurately track property subject to proceedings under the Civil Forfeiture Act to keep it protected and secure, retain value, minimize associated costs and maximize proceeds from disposal Identify and Oversee Service of Respondents in Court Actions- Administer and oversee the service of documents on respondents regarding proceedings under the Civil Forfeiture Act Maintain Financial Records - Maintain accurate financial records relating to the restraint, management, income, expenses and disposal of property subject to proceedings under the Civil Forfeiture Act in accordance with GOA policies and procedures .
