Job Summary We are hiring a Landscaping Planting Gardening Worker for a short-term contract prospect in Perth, Ontario.
This hands-on outdoor role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, planting, gardening, landscaping, and working in a greenhouse and field environment.
This opportunity offers an ASAP start with consistent daytime hours and the potential for additional work for reliable candidates who perform well.
Key Responsibilities - Assist with planting, transplanting, and general gardening tasks in greenhouse and field areas. - Support bed preparation and maintenance, including fixing edges of beds that are not properly covered. - Identify and report leaks or issues in drip irrigation lines. - Perform manual outdoor labour tasks related to planting, field maintenance, and landscaping support.
- Work safely in wet, muddy, and changing outdoor conditions. - Follow direction from supervisors and contribute to a productive team environment.
Compensation and Benefits - Pay rate: $20 per hour. - Job type: Short-term temporary contract. - Expected duration: Approximately 4 weeks or more. - Start date: ASAP. - Schedule: Shifts are generally 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some shifts potentially starting later than 8:30 a.m. - Location: Perth, Ontario - Perk: New location with the possibility of additional work for candidates who perform well.
