Position Overview
Finning is growing quick—and so are the opportunities! We’re hiring a Heavy Duty Mechanic to support our customers at our Fort McMurray Town Shop. If you have CAT equipment experience this job is for you.

Industry Leading Wage: $64.04 - $71.16/h

Continuous Shift Premium: $3.50/h

Continuous Shift: 7x7; extra scheduled weeks off per year

Job Description

Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detail

Troubleshoot, maintain and perform equipment repairs

Interface with customers, products and sales support

Working with the Supervisor on various tasks

Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements

Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment

Various related duties as required

Qualifications

Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification

Experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician





Important Detail

This shop position is on a 7x7 shift rotation based out of our Fort McMurray Town Shop facility

A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator

Union Membership

You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted

Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement.
