Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert

Pay Rate: Starting from $102 per hour

Location: Toronto, ON

Location Type: Hybrid

Business Hours: Monday-Friday, Core Business Hours

Job Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, unit test andoptimizedata pipelines using Scala and Apache Spark

Implement transformations, aggregations, and calculationsrequiredfor liquidity reporting

Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of large-scale data processing jobs

Integrate data from multiple source systems (e.g., transactional, risk, financial data)

Apply data validation, reconciliation, and error-handling mechanisms

Support deployment, code reviews, and production issue resolution

Adhere to enterprise development standards, security, and governance policies

Experience & Qualification Requirements

5-10 years of Scala Spark developer experience

Strong communication skills

Banking/Regulatory reporting in Banking preferred

Liquidity reporting preferred
