Our client, a growing Canadian healthcare technology and sustainability company, is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager - Medical Device to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a healthcare sales professional who enjoys commercializing creative products, building strategic partnerships, and bringing new medical technologies to market.
This remote-friendly role is open to candidates across British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario and offers the opportunity to help grow a newly launched custom CPAP mask platform while supporting future healthcare innovations.
Compensation & Benefits Salary: $80K-90K base salary (flexible depending on experience)
Commission: Uncapped commission structure

Key Responsibilities Drive commercial growth of a custom CPAP mask platform
Develop relationships with: Sleep clinics
Respiratory therapists
Hospitals
Healthcare organizations
Medical distributors

Identify and develop new business opportunities across Canadian and international markets
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through implementation and account growth
Build strategic partnerships that support long-term commercialization
Establish relationships with healthcare professionals, clinicians, and key decision-makers
Gather customer feedback to support product improvements and future innovation
Collaborate with:



Product Development
Engineering
Manufacturing
Marketing
Leadership teams

Support commercialization of future medical technologies
Represent the company at healthcare conferences, trade shows, and industry events
Maintain CRM records, sales activity, and forecasting
Qualifications 7+ years of business development or strategic sales experience
Proven success developing new business and growing key accounts
Experience selling complex healthcare solutions involving multiple stakeholders
Medical device sales experience strongly preferred
Experience within one or more of the following areas preferred: Medical devices
Sleep medicine
Respiratory care
CPAP / DME
Healthcare technology
Hospitals
Health Authorities
Clinical environments

Experience launching new products or commercializing emerging technologies is an asset
Strong relationship-building skills with clinicians, healthcare organizations, and business leaders
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a market from the ground up
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong CRM and pipeline management skills (HubSpot experience an asset)
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as required
