Salary Range: up to $120,369 based on OCT standing
Qualifications: OCT qualified teacher
University degree in Special Education or S.E.R.T. certified
Experience in supporting a school special education program
Experience in diagnosing and assessing learning disorders
Proven effective classroom and student behavior management skills
Knowledge of current special education practices and methodologies
Knowledge and understanding of Provincial, local, and federal regulations and policies affecting special education
Familiarity with Ministry of Education documents (e.g.,



Growing Success)
Working knowledge of educational technology applications
Strong technology skills
Ability to travel extensively to remote fly-in First Nations throughout the school year.
