Position Lead a wide variety of programs including traditional OT intervention and assessments (Veterans, WSIB, Federal and Provincial Government, MVA).
Working towards the goal of successfully returning ill workers to their previous or alternative employment positions
Apply organizational and decision-making skills to manage a time constraint caseload
Establish and maintain collaborative, professional relationships with various stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and community health care providers
Develop intervention programs to address clients' needs related to function in self-care, work and leisure activities
Maintain clients records
Requirements Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)




Professional Liability Insurance
3-5 years experience
Valid driver’s license and vehicle
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Bilingual (French & English) Oral and written an asset (English required)
Experience working with complex trauma (PTSD) and/or with first responders an asset
Understanding of legislation surrounding return to work, disability management, accommodation principles, organizational policies and sustainable work best practices is essential.
Experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, Cognitive Assessments, Exposure Therapy and Behavioral Activation is an asset.
Experience with Functional Capacity Evaluations, In-Home Assessment and Accident Benefits as asset.
