Key Responsibilities Using Autodesk Inventor to produce shop drawings for custom and standard tanks for fabrications.
Assist Sales from conceptualization through drafting and component sections to create build to order drawing packages for customer approval.
Review changes related to build to order drawing packages as communicated through customer reviews of approval drawings
Complete comprehensive drawing packages from approved drawing to production detail to ensure final product matches customer requirement
Verify that all drawings and jobs meet applicable codes
Provide input to Quality Assurance as it relates to audits conducted as part of compliance of codes
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to help solve day-to-day issues and ensure custom products meet required specifications
Create, maintain, and enter data regarding bills of materials, routings, and part numbers in ERP (SAP) system
Network regularly with production department to ensure accuracy of engineered drawings
Work closely with Master Schedulers to ensure work orders meet requirements
Maintain and follow ISO 9001:2015 Engineering processes, procedures and documentation
Participate in production meetings and any other product related meetings as required
Cooperate with Buyers to ensure parts and material meet specifications
Participate in the maintenance of product manuals and instruction documents, and maintain and update those manuals and documents
Provide technical information support to the outside sales team
Collaborate regularly with and provide support to Customer Service and R&D;
Work with a sense of urgency in order to meet critical objectives and deadlines as assigned by Engineering Manager
Complete documentation packages

Requirements And Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T).
Highly skilled in Autodesk Inventor and Vault
3-5 years relevant experience in engineering within the metal and/or manufacturing industry
Ability to interpret complex drawings and spatial concepts/relations.
Proficiency with 3D design platforms; Solid Works experience an asset
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
Possess a high attention to detail
Ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize affectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Work as part of various teams
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change easily
Professional attitude and positive approach to work
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Health and Safety Understand applicable Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures in the workplace

near misses, property damage to your supervisor/manager and/or a JHSC member immediately
You may be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in a manufacturing setting (i.e., safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, high visibility vests, etc.).
Working Conditions Physical Environment Requires use of office equipment
Will be required to converse with other individuals
Workplace Hazards Risk of repetitive motion injuries or musculoskeletal strain.
At times will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment when entering the production floor.
May be exposed to noise, dust and hot/cold temperatures when in the production area.
Team & Work Environment While the work is primarily independent, it will require interdepartmental collaboration to procure the necessary receiving documentation from shipping and purchasing.
Communication will be critical in dealing with customer interactions in person and over the phone.
Physical Effort Effort Requirements Moderate amount of time sitting
Mental & Cognitive Effort Verbally converse with other individuals
Use of office equipment including telephone, personal computer, calculator, copy and fax machine.
Ability to audit, evaluate, and report concerns and recommendations.
