Truck Mechanic / Heavy Duty Truck Technician We are seeking an experienced Truck Mechanic to join our service department.
The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain medium and heavy-duty trucks while ensuring high standards of safety, reliability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on heavy-duty trucks Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems Service braking, suspension, steering, and hydraulic systems Troubleshoot engine performance, fuel systems, electrical systems, and emissions components Use electronic diagnostic tools and service software Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service inspections Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications Maintain accurate service documentation and repair records Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards Requirements Experience as a Truck Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic,
or Heavy Duty Technician Strong diesel engine diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience working on heavy-duty trucks Experience using electronic diagnostic tools and scan equipment Fluent in English (spoken and written) Valid drivers license Own professional tools Preferred Qualifications Experience servicing major truck brands such as Volvo, Mack, Kenworth, Freightliner, Scania, or International Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification Red Seal certification (preferred) Previous dealership or heavy-duty truck service center experience What We Offer Competitive wages based on experience Full time stable employment Modern diagnostic equipment and tools Opportunities for technical training and career advancement Professional heavy-duty truck service environment
