The opportunity Are You Ready to Make a Difference in Specialty Claims? Are you passionate about helping people get back to doing what they love after an unexpected event? Do you get excited about delivering an outstanding customer experience while handling unique and engaging claims? If you answered Yes, then Aviva Specialty Claims wants you on our team! As a Lifestyle Claims Adjuster youll be the go-to expert for claims involving Watercrafts and trailers (RVs), including total losses and complex losses.

Youll play a vital role in supporting our customers during some of their most challenging moments, ensuring they receive the care, expertise, and solutions they deserve, and getting back to what they love doing most as easily as possible! What youll do Be the Expert: Review and analyze policies, appraisals, and technical reports to assess claim value and negotiate fair settlements.

Own Your Portfolio: Effectively manage an active caseload of claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution in line with Avivas standards, with customer service at the forefront.

Make Independent Decisions: Operate within your authority, using your judgment to resolve claims efficiently.

Keep it Organized: Maintain detailed, accurate file records and adhere to all Aviva Specialty Claims protocols.

What youll bring Experience: Minimum 1-2+ years of previous claims adjusting experience. (Property experience preferred).

Passion: Genuine interest in Lifestyle claimswhether its, watercraft, RVs or travel trailers, we are looking for someone who is passionate about our products and getting our customers back to using them What makes you stand out Progress toward or completion of the Insurance Institute Program (CIP/FCIP) A post-secondary diploma or degree.

Provincial Licenses for the Atlantic provinces.

Prior Property, or Specialty claims (trailers, RVs, watercraft) experience.





Experience with and demonstrated ability to effectively handle complex and high value claims.

What youll get The salary band for this position ranges from $58,000 to $75,000.

Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
