Lead patient safety initiatives with Nova Scotia Health as a Quality Improvement Leader based in Halifax. Drive comprehensive quality improvement and patient safety through effective management and innovative solutions.

The Quality Improvement & Safety Leader will report to the Manager of Quality Improvement & Safety, supporting NSH’s provincial programs. Candidates must have at least five years of quality and patient safety leadership experience. This role focuses on implementing risk management strategies, enhancing patient engagement, and meeting accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead investigations of patient safety incidents
• Facilitate quality reviews and trend analysis
• Provide coaching for quality improvement initiatives




• Support accreditation activities and deliver training
• Collaborate on effective care delivery models

Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in a health care discipline
• 5 years in quality/patient safety leadership
• Solid data management and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and report writing abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
