Tasks Manage mechanical engineering projects in collaboration with various departments.

Work on systems such as pumping, compressed air, material handling, and underground construction projects.

Perform technical calculations and field surveys.

Provide ongoing technical support to operations and maintenance teams.

Design, review, and update maintenance and engineering procedures.

Ensure technical supervision of contractors (F/M) on worksites.

Contribute to the preparation of the budget and long-term plan (LOM).

Ensure the quality, compliance, and availability of drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

Participate in problem-solving in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Ensure compliance with applicable laws, standards, and procedures.

Perform all other related duties.

Job requirements Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Between 2 and 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingnieurs du Qubec.

Valid general explosives permit and completed FMTM modules.

Knowledge of equipment and systems (pumps, compressors, piping, concrete, etc.): an asset.

Proficiency in software such as Inventor, AutoCAD, Deswik, and SAP Maintenance: an asset. ASP Construction card: an asset.
