Key Responsibilities
- Design and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for a wide range of building projects.
- Prepare design calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
- Develop detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Collaborate closely with architects, electrical engineers, and project managers to ensure coordinated and efficient design solutions.
- Participate in site reviews, field inspections,
and construction administration.
- Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Support mentorship and knowledge sharing within the mechanical team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- P.Eng. designation or eligibility for licensure in Ontario preferred.
- 8+ years of mechanical design experience within the building consulting industry.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach.
- Experience in project management or leading small design teams considered an asset.
