Join the City of Whitehorse as a Utility Stations Operator, where you will manage critical water and sewage operations. This permanent full time position prioritizes public health and environmental safety. In this role, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining all water and sewage systems, including treatment and distribution.

You will conduct crucial sampling, monitor equipment, and perform preventative maintenance, directly impacting the safety and health of the community. Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and inspect water and sewage treatment facilities
- Conduct chemical and physical sampling of potable water
- Maintain operational compliance with regulations
- Assist with SCADA system testing and maintenance
- Ensure a sanitary appearance at treatment plants Requirements:
- 12 months’ experience at a Class 1 facility
- Level I certifications in relevant fields
- Comprehensive knowledge of water quality standards
- Proficient in emergency response procedures
- Class 5 Driver’s License required Drive community safety and public health through effective water management in Whitehorse.
