About The Role
We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis, working remotely within the USA. In this role, you will play a critical part in enhancing the usability and user experience of our healthcare platform. Your efforts will directly impact care professionals by making our solutions more intuitive, accessible, and effective, ultimately supporting better patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for design, excellent interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of user‑centered design principles. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and user representatives to conduct research, develop prototypes, and champion best practices in UX design. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful work in a fast‑paced, innovative workplace, making a tangible difference in the healthcare industry.
Qualifications
- College or university degree in UX Design, Information Technology, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, DoveTail, Adobe Creative Suite, Protopie, etc.
- Extensive professional experience in UX design, demonstrating a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Strong visual design skills with a focus on creating user interfaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to high‑quality deliverables.
- Experience in gathering and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions.
- Proficiency working within agile development environments.
- Knowledge of established and emerging UX design practices and methodologies.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills across organizational levels.
- Creative and analytical thinking to solve complex user experience challenges.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS is beneficial for discussing technical specifications with engineering teams.
- Experience with usability testing and analytics platforms to evaluate and improve user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design solutions.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts clearly and effectively.
- Refine user personas and map user journeys to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to incorporate user feedback and technical constraints into design iterations.
- Champion best practices in UX design across the organization, promoting a user‑centered approach.
- Maintain consistency in visual and interaction design to uphold brand standards and usability goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging design practices to continuously enhance the platform’s user experience.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Assist in defining and documenting design specifications for engineering teams to implement effectively.
