Job Description As the Assistant Guest Services Manager, you will lead and manage all aspects of the Guest Services department - including Valet, Bell Services, Shuttle Operations, Ski Valet, and Bike Valet - while fostering an engaged, high-performing team. By showcasing your leadership and interpersonal strengths, you will maximize operational efficiency, uphold the highest standards of service excellence, and ensure every guest interaction is transformed into a memorable experience.
Salary Range: $66,000 - $69,000 gross annually, depending on education and experience
Job Duties Include:
Manage and motivate the Guest Services team, ensuring colleagues are strategically positioned to engage with guests and deliver exceptional service throughout their stay.
Oversee and coordinate seamless arrival and departure experiences across Valet, Bell Services, Shuttle Operations, Ski Valet, and Bike Valet.
Maintain the highest operational and service standards through regular inspections, coaching, and performance management.
Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring appropriate follow-up and communication with relevant departments.
Conduct regularly scheduled departmental meetings and support ongoing colleague engagement initiatives.
Balance operational, administrative, and staffing requirements while fostering a positive team culture.
Train, onboard, and develop all current colleagues within the department.
Assist guests with hotel facilities, services, and local information in an informative and helpful manner.
Supervise valet operations to ensure guest vehicles are driven, parked, and retrieved safely, efficiently, and with the highest level of care and professionalism.
Manage the hotel's fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are properly maintained, operationally ready, and compliant with safety standards.
Support departmental efficiency by maintaining strong communication and collaboration between all Guest Services teams.
Qualifications Class 5 BC Drivers License (required)
Class 4 BC Drivers License (an asset)
Previous leadership experience in a similar role required
Previous PMS experience required
