Millar Western Forest Products Ltd.’s Quesnel River Pulp Division is seeking a Technical Supervisor/QC Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Technical & Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will play a vital role in mill operations. The primary responsibilities include managing all aspects of the pulp and process monitoring testing, quality assurance and quality control programs. You will supervise shift technologists and lab technicians while ensuring the development & application of safe work procedures. Working collaboratively with mill operations teams & technical sales you will ensure final pulp is being produced cost efficiently to meet quality specifications.

The ideal candidate
Qualified candidates will have related education and several years’ experience in a pulp mill workplace. With a strong background in analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting, you have demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
