Overview: Our client is a well-established, privately held distributor with decades of experience as a market leader in the Canadian mechanical and commercial plumbing valve sector.

Their commercial plumbing valve portfolio spans a wide range of high-quality products designed for building systems, waterworks, and mechanical contractors making them a go-to partner for contractors, engineers, and distributors alike.

Beyond their leadership in the commercial plumbing market, they are also a major valve supplier to the oil & gas, refining, mining, power, mission critical, and general industrial sectors, serving as a single source for both general purpose and engineered valve solutions.

As they continue to expand their presence in this growing region, they are looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join a dynamic, team-based workplace.

This role carries an element of leadership as well as sales the successful candidate will help build a culture where best practices drive the best results, contributing to process development, procedure creation and monitoring, training, and building an overall customer- and market-focused workplace.

Sales Territory: Edmonton, Western Alberta, Northwestern Alberta, Northeastern British Columbia, Yukon, and Northwest Territories (and other areas as defined by leadership) What you will be doing: Schedule meetings with existing and potential customers on a daily basis to review product requirements and identify new opportunities Build and maintain relationships across a customer base that includes industrial distributors, plumbing & heating wholesalers, mechanical contractors, industrial contractors, OEMs, mechanical engineers, EPCM firms, and end users Support corporate approved-manufacturers-list (AML) activities with regional end-users Study market trends,



customer behaviors, and current demand to help shape strategies that increase sales Promote communication and collaboration across team members to meet company objectives Conduct market surveys to identify prospective clients and gather competitive intelligence Deliver professional presentations on company products and field technical questions Organize and attend joint sales calls with vendors, distributors, and fellow sales representatives Keep customers up to date on new products, launches, and enhancements Prepare regular sales status reports, including call activity, follow-up items, wins/losses, and progress against targets Maintain a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction throughout every interaction Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership What you must have: Post-secondary education from an accredited university or technical institution preferred 57 years of direct industry experience in the PVF (pipe, valve, fittings) / distribution / manufacturing space 12+ years of experience successfully managing multiple initiatives and/or direct reports Strong motivational and interpersonal skills A track record of developing and mentoring a cohesive, self-sufficient team that goes the extra mile for clients Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record Excellent communication and dynamic presentation abilities Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and business-management minded Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Power

Point Salary/Rate Range: $90,000.00 - $135,000.00 Thank you for your interest in this opportunity.
